Whats it like Nav?

I'm thinking about upgrading to this release but I may wait and wait for the official stable release. Any major bugs?

I am using Wordpress 2.7 since their beta 1 version. For me as a normal wp user, I didn't find any bugs till their RC1 version except one which was fixed in beta 3 version. I think you can too upgrade to the 2.7 version though making backups first is still essential. Also make sure your theme is able to take advantages of the new features. I would recommend to you to use Wordpress 2.7 on your personal blog first..then you may even upgrade your Blogging Tips blog too if you find it safe.

One thing more...I am testing Wordpress 2.7 only on my personal blog...so no idea of whether all plugins working or not.

Also make sure your theme is able to take advantages of the new features.

That's not a requirement ;) If you want the new features, make the changes, if you don't, then the choice is yours. Too many people are complaining about having to 'yet again' make changes to their theme for the new version of WordPress, when it's not a necessity, merely an enhancement.

We've been running beta 3 on a few client sites, so I'll be upgrading all sites to RC1 over the next few days.
