Hi, and thanks for taking a moment here.
I'm Michael Erik of www.qualityblogger.com.
Since I haven't had much traffic and zero comments I'm growing a bit concerned.
First, does this stand a chance? I'm trying to do a good thing here. I can imagine how the first promoter of fighting pollution must have received all kinds of flak. I'm trying to fight internet pollution and overload by promoting quality in blogging.
Second, can any of you even post a comment to my site successfully? If not let me know what happens so I can hopefully fix it!
Finally, would you please review my site and give me some suggestions as well? I would greatly appreciate it! Look, feel, traffic, monetization or whatever! Thanks!
Sincerely,
- Michael Erik, MBA

I think you need to change some things in your design
* at the moment there is only one post on the home page, you should increase there so people can see that there are more posts
* You should put the links to older articles above the advertisements, as it stands you have more advertisements links on your sidebar than links to your own content
* you need a menu - a contact page, an about page etc
:)

The quality of the posts isn't bad (aside from the massive wikipedia url's with no links?), but I agree that you need a menu, more content, and more sections.

I think you have a good site and really nice topics and information but where you lag is in design and in the ad placement.I don't think that you should worry the site is good if there is no comment there might have been some reason.

if you are on the blogger platform, get off of it.
terrible for SEO.

First of all, it looks like you're using Blogger. I used to use Blogger. It's horrible. Switch to Wordpress and all will be good. :)
Another thing is, the sidebar looks awfully cluttered to me. Either you could change the design or remove a few things from it. But like I said, if you use Wordpress, you can get much better looking layouts and themes.

The design is ok but not fantastic, Too much clutter needs cleaned up. Switch to Word Press. If your host uses fantastico you can install it very easily. If not there is a 5 minute install procedure on Wordpress.org. You will need mysql and php so make sure you meet all the requirements first. I was able to post a comment so that isn't a problem.

Hi all
Thanks again for all the advice. I am using Blogger and I think I've made improvements and continue to do so, but I will say that traffic has still been a bit low and I do have limitations with Blogger.
I hope there is no SEO issue as one person seemed to hint to for blogger. I did come up #1 a few times and at least in the top 10 / first page in google, msn, yahoo and dogpile for "quality blogger" but of course who searches for that?!
Is there a way to get keywords in blogger somehow, and how? Where do I put the metatags in their template? I may have to go to wordpress if blogger doesn't give me better traffic...unless I may not be doing something. I'm also burning with feedburner.
Anyhow I'm relying heavily on labels for my content categorization. Let me know if you have any ways I can still make it better. I think I've come a ways though. Now if I can only get than darn header changed to how I want...

Hi all
I just changed things around a bit again, streamlined, cleaned up, etc. Now have 12 topics all my posts will fit into. I think this new look and what I am now calling the blog by title, is much better.
Also, not sure if my comments are disabled again since I haven't gotten any in a while.
Anyhow hope everyone can find at least something useful amongst the 12 topics. Much more content on its way!

I love the domain name but the blog needs a better theme, to be honest.
