John Chow is running a contest with $6000 cash in prize but it is for charity. $5000 will be given to a charity of your choice and $1000 will be given to the owner participant. You only need to make a buzz about it in your blog. Anyone participating?

@navjotsingh
good question. Why john chow do that? I think there will be hard to control the cash flow..I'm curious about it. How about asking it to john chow himself?
Ow, or we should write an address of charity place if we are win? Is that effective?

As far as I understood winner only gets 1k, rest is donated to charity of his choice directly by sponsor.

Yeah. Its pretty clear from the quote below :
The winner will received $5,000 for the charity of their choice plus an additional $1,000 so they can buy something nice for the holidays.
Btw, even John Chow can get sloppy :P

Well, I think the $5000 will not be given directly to the winner. As requirement, you need to specify the charity and also link to them so most probably, it will be John Chow himself that are going to send the money to the charity via the charity's website.

Well if that's the case, then it is a good idea then. Well till now I was a bit worried over entering this contest but if this is the case, even I am entering this contest.
