Do you know method to build link for your blog?
Link exchange? I alreday know it
TLA? Already know about it....
So?
I find it when i go to some place which discuss webmaster related. This method is using link in forum signature at do-follow forum. Some forum is have do-follow feature and if you post a lot, that's mean you get many link for free , right? That's the logic....
And there is some forum which allowed member to sell signature to people, and if we buy it, we can place our link in their signature. Do you think it's interesting if people doing 1000 posting per month and that's mean you get 1000 backlink...
Yeah, that is just a logic. But i getting confuse when i check that my site link in signature is not indexed yet. In some do-follow place, i already make 1100 post and i googling for it, there is no one :(
It's because google is not allowed this method or my site is not indexed yet?

There's a number of different reasons, the two most likely ones are
1. The site or the forum is not being indexed by Google, perhaps being stopped by the robots.txt file
2. Googlebot just hasn't gone that far into the site to find these specific pages.

Google is not fast to show backlinks. I mean Yahoo shows thousands backlinks for my blog and Google barely few hundreds.
Signature links are good for awareness but I think they are worthless as backlinks. This short topic already has almost hundred links on page. More posts and it can easily be few hundreds. Value of signature link is simply diluted.

That is also the case for mine either. But the good thing is that even google doesn't recognize it, in one way or another, if the forum has lots of traffic, your site will have some exposure and eventually will drive traffic.

Yeah Google is really choosy about picking and counting backlinks to a site. You will always find a huge difference in numbers being reported by Yahoo! and Google. Google has its own methods to pick backlinks but if that forum is being indexed in Google, your site still has chance and since you have already made 1100+ posts, you should enjoy the traffic coming from there. Traffic matters more than rankings.

As already stated signature via forums dont really help with backlinks. Traffic may be yeah (if the forum allows image signatures use the feedburner animated signature).

Worth noting that in techie niche animated stuff should be avoided at all costs. Techies often have animation freezed to first frame. For example I see animated feedburner chicklets as blank because they hadn't thought about putting number in first frame.

hmm..interesting point. i never disable gif, neither do i block js as they are vital to the web experience. instead i only block the offending ones.
but you are right, a lot of people do prevent animated gif's.

I agree. Traffic is all that we should care about.
Although I am not an active forum user but whenever I do it I do it with an aim of building traffic to my blog and to make relations with other forum users and bloggers.

This is very interesting topic. I checked one site which have more than 15000 back links. But he have one 5 back links in google. I don't know which method google uses for choosing backlinks.

I think it all depends on how popular the forum is. If you post a lot on a more popular forum than I think there's a chance that Google will count your links.
Ether way you are still going to be getting a lot of free traffic and readers.

Maybe you have to wait for google to update their backlinks database.
