Is there any blog event in your local country?

In indonesia, every year there is party called "pesta blogger" of in english is "blogger party". It's gathering of all blogger at indonesia. We can meet offline blogger, and discuss many thing about blogging. I think we need to make event like this daily, in way to get closer between blogger and blogger.
How bout in your country? Is there any event like this (blogger event offline)?

Had something like that recently but so skipped it. :) Blogs around here are in early stages, have twice more ads than content and usually far from interesting. Going to take years for them to reach level of English-writing blogosphere.

for us here in Philippines we also have some but because I am far from the capital city, I am not updated with what's happening.

There are a no. of blogging evens that happen in India. but none of them are near my place. I think Blog Camp Kerala is going to be held very soon.

but i find many people at india is do blogging, i have more than 10 friend from india. So i think you can start to invite your people (blogger india) and do something like this. There is you, navjotsingh, and many more...

there are already several blog camps that take place in mumbai, delhi etc. The thing is India is a really big country! e.g. Mumbai is 2100 km frm my place!

yeah, that's the problem if you are far away in the capital city. That is why sometimes I am thinking to put up some seminars in our place so that people will be aware that there are money in blogging and also so we will have our own community of bloggers in our place.

that's why i said that you need to be the first who invite blogger from your local city / near area from your city to make event like this hehe
There is no need to be luxury, since we can meet, talking about blog, drink some coffee only is not bad :D
