thanks for sharing but actually i'm not shoutbox lover because based on my experience, shoutbox is oftenly used for spamming. Is there any shoutbox which the comment there can be moderated?

Check this one then: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-wall/ - This is a wordpress plugin which acts like a Shoutbox but all its shouts are handled as wordpress comments so whatever protection you add for normal comments, same way shouts are handled here. All shouts will be processed by Akismet too. This seems much better for your needs.

Though I never in favor of shoutboxes..they hardly serve any purpose and are more of a bandwidth hogger. Imagine this that there are only 4 shoutbox plugins available on wordpress.org and only 2 are working with 2.6.x version of Wordpress.

hmmm, this will come handy. I am planning to start a video blog on december and this I think will be a good feature because my video blog will be concentrated in one series.

I agree with what has been said in this thread. I already allow people to comment on my posts or email me feedback. Shoutbox doesnt really serve any purpose.

On this website you can moderate comments. Shoutboxes are cool sometimes as they let you know what other people think of your website quickly. Still it is your decision to have or not to have one ;).
