I was wondering how much traffic do you guys get? My Tech blog http://techtreak.com gets around 800 to 1000 visitors a month. But it depends on the posts ;)

So, how about you? How much traffic does your blog get?

My blog is only a month old and for its first month, it has more than 500 uniques so I think I'm doing pretty well. I even have one post that got 100 uniques in just a day because of stumble upon. Though my I have few subscription yet.

3700+ visitors in last 30 days, around 1500 out of that is StumbleUpon spike so my usual is lower. Really struggling to go above 100 visitors daily at moment.

Depends which stats you look at. My server stats read between 350 and 800 a day, depending on whether a page has been stumbled.

this month my min hits in a day was 550 and max was about 2500.

Hits or visitors? They're two different things. I had over 150k of hits last month compared to 10k of visitors (according to awstats) ;)

I generally get 10,000-12000 uniques per month translating to 350-400 uniques avg per day with max 1000 uniques per day sometimes.

Well 2 weeks ago I did no promotion and got only 100 per day via search engines; I then promoted ONE article and since the initial jump it has averaged out to 300 a day.

Since stumbleupon doesn't work on .tk tld's That route is gone and that was the social media I had most experience in. Saying that when time is free I plan to experiment with some other bookmarking sites to see how they do.

My plan is to hit 400 uniques a day that stay for at least 5 mins by end of November.

Hmm, on an average 130-150 uniques per day (as per Statcounter)! But Adsense seems to have it's own way of counting hits/page views. As their stats almost always never match with that of Statcounter for some reason, beyond my comprehension!

I think adsense counts impressions and not page hits. If you have two ads in a page, basically it will give two impressions or every page hits.

It depends how Statcounter count your traffic. AdSense is JavaScript based so it will only pick up page views of JS enabled browsers. To add to that, some people will block AdSense via their ad blocker so it may have decreased page views due to this.

AdSense is not a reliable method for measuring your stats. Fact is, nothing is reliable, server based stats will be over inflated due to the number of bots out there, and JS based stat counters will not pick up anyone without JS running.

Traffic is not all about quantity but also quality. You should think of ways of converting your existing traffic to its max. potential and then work on more traffic.

Yeah the layout is changed but still all sites are listed one below the another. Can you show the screenshot about the problem you are facing?

But if we make a good content, it'll useless if we have less quantity of traffic. What do you think of it? yeah, it's better to have both of quality and quantity but it's hard :D. I'll try.

Anyway, what do you mean by converting existing traffic to its max? Make current traffic become what? I'm bit confuse

One very important aspect is the bounce rate. Try to make your visitors stay longer. Many readers just come to the page via search engines and leave. The important thing is to make him interested in reading other stuff you have written about. Initially my bounce rate was above 70%. After changing the theme and adding tags, popular posts, recent posts, recent comments and related posts it has dropped below 60%. But I want to bring it down even more.

Thanks, I figured it out already, they now have something like profile thing that has all your site but the reason I was confused is that one of website are just like a code or something. My bad is that I made another profile again and duplicated account for a particular site. thanks though.

My old blog that I sold to Kevin recently had a good amount of traffic and RSS subscribers.

I am today launching a new blog, which will not get anywhere near the amount of visitors.

indeed quality matters a lot; I mean at the moment i get 20% sticking around for 20 mins plus and 20% between 5-20 mins.

Which is good in my opinion but my bounce rate is in the low 90 high 80 percentile getting people to stick around is hard :p and some how the maths doesn't work for me...if 40% stick around for 5-20+ mins so how is the bounce rate 80-90%?!

Ah well
