I am happy that I am on the way of getting the high page ranking for my site. My friends have advised me to go for site maps as these help in search engine optimization. Though what I have experienced is that these site maps are not going to help to improve the page ranking directly and the same was told to me before inclusion of site map. The sEO processs indicates that you hace to direct the spider accordingly in order to get the web pages of the site crawled. To make this crawl ealily and quickly, the robots receive a point of reference with links. Do you feel the same way?

Each day a great number of web pages are submitted to Google. Because of this Google decided to come out with Google Sitemaps to facilitate searching. The Google Sitemap service first started in June 2005 and since then submissions to Google are much easier. Today webmasters can easily communicate with Google and inform them about the release of their pages and changes and updates of pages. Moreover, web owners receive detailed reports regarding the submitted page?s visibility in Google. The Google Sitemap service is an additional feature that Google offers except for the Google?s regular crawl. However, some people claim that Google Sitemaps can do a better job than the regular crawl. This is just an assumption yet.
