Especially for those who work online full time ... what is your work schedule like? Do you have much of a routine? Are you a total workaholic? I feel like I'm online constantly and when I'm not I have access to my blackberry *sigh* I have a really hard time making myself step away. I've played tennis since I could walk ... didn't play for years ... and now found a group of ladies I play with ... and when I'm on the court it's the only time I feel like I completely forget about the internet and my sites ...
I am a single mom to 3 amazing kids ... and we've been through a lot over the past few years (i.e. divorce putting me back into the "work place" after many years at home, we had a house fire, and some other personal trials ...) so I guess I feel like I really have to make this happen for my kids. I do not ever want to go back to work outside the home ... I really want to be here and see everything their life is about and keep them on a straight path. My oldest just turned 13 so I feel it's even more important now that I'm home for him.
I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks. *SmiLes* Suzanne

wow. that's really tough. you really need to stand by your children. and I wish you well, I hope you make it well on the web.
As for me, I am studying for my Masters degree so my schedule was really indefinite. Honestly, it's very very hard to budget my time. Sometimes I even forget my some of my deadlines in study because I am becoming to be hooked in blogging. If I have a free time, that's the time I blog. Maybe I'll focus more on blogging after graduation.

Thanks for your well-wishes. I'm sorry ... I do want to say that I don't want my post to sound like a "pitty party" ... but more of my WHY I'm so intent on making this work!
I am very driven and very hard-working ... I do it for my kids ... but I don't want to be so obessed that I don't spend time with them either. It's a difficult balance ... as it is for everyone on here I'm sure. *SmiLes* Suzanne
P.S. I'm still SmiLing so all is OK ;)

I try to stick to as much of a routine as possible as I'm more productive when I'm organised. I start work at 8am and work until 1pm. Then I stop work for an hour, watch some TV downstairs (we work upstairs in our spare bedroom) whilst having some lunch, back to work around 2pm until 5-7pm. I cook dinner at some point in the evening and spend the evening catching up with blog posts, or sometimes switch the computer off and chill out. Or if I have a lot of work on I'll work in the evenings too, but I try not to!

Sarah ... it sounds like you are very discipline. I feel like I'm discipline about the AMOUNT of time ... but I need to force myself to stay on task.
I've started using a "To Do Today" list that I put into a word doc ... and take the things off that are done and move the rest to the next day. I organize the list by what makes me money at the top ... and then work my way down to the fun stuff. I need to break it down further to time slots and I thing that would help even more. *SmiLes* Suzanne

I just turned myself into a professional blogger for about 3 weeks ago, but I started blogging since last year. When I was still working, I used to kill myself and I am very disorganized in terms of blogging activities. I only have 3~4 hrs. sleep since I am working about 8~10 hrs. in the office.
But now, I am more organized. I prioritize my time with my family like eating breakfast, lunch and dinner with them. I am also enjoying a regular sleep, unless of course there is a big project to finish that night.
Now, I am more relax and I even feel healthier.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday : Work for 2 hours in the morning then go to the gym for 2 hours. Then I go home, have something to eat then work for another 5 or 6 hours.
Tuesday, Thursday : Work for about 6-7 hours during the daytime. Train at night then usually check my emails when I get home at 10pm.
Saturday and Sunday : I don't get many emails at the weekend so I don't work as much. I usually just quickly check my emails on the Saturday morning but thats it. On the sunday I sometimes work for 4 or 5 hours but sometimes I take that off as well, just depends what I have on.

Taekwondo. I usually do BJJ on a Friday afternoon as well but I work my schedule around it. That's the beauty of working online.

mmm, compared to some people I am but I don't always feel it haha.
I've got asthma and it's worst in the winter so I try and stay on top of my cardio as it helps that a lot.
