Here is this weeks challenge :
Post your best blog tip in 140 characters or less
As always, I think it's important that things are kept fair and competitive :
You are only allowed one entry so make it count!
Ideas/Suggestions should be original ie. don't just copy someone elses idea and try and claim it as your own :)
Deadline for entries is 12pm ET Tuesday 25th November 2008
On Tuesday 25th November David will choose what he believes to be the best response
Good luck :)

There isn't a shortcut to blogging success. It takes commitment, know-hows, good interpersonal skills and most importantly, the passion to see you through the ups and downs of blogging.

Write about a subject you are passionate about and have a good understanding of. If you don't, you will lose interest and never make it.
(Had to pull out Twitter to make sure I was under)

Inject your own personality into your writing, give your own opinions and be unique. Try and stand out from the crowd, don't blend in.

Blog about your passions. Don’t blog about what you think your followers want. Post because you have something you are dying to write about.

Put some effort into making your archives navigable. Don't just use date-based. Make it easy and fun to browse through your old posts.

Inspire others, and be useful to them. This is the best strategy so far, even better than search engines and all the social sites around.
Thanks.

Develop a rapport with other bloggers by posting comments. Then, write killer guest posts. This is how I got my first 1000 subscribers.

Hey fayans reply was of 185 characters...did you checked that? I thought replies should have been of 140 or less characters. I PMed fayans on this but he never replied.

I've emailed Darren about this. He was the one who chose fayans reply as one of the best so I'll let him decide.
Darren got back to me. He says that SarahG wrote the next best comment.

Yeah, I won it. Thanks to Kevin and also to Darren for choosing my little contribution. I almost push the "BUY" button on the Amazon and now with a signed copy of it, it makes it all worth the procrastination.

I thought by Kevin's Comment, next winner was Sarah or you won it? Because your reply was well out of 140 limit.

I wish I could write in less than 140 characters but it might lose the flow. So winning it or not is not an issue as I'm glad to be able to participate in it and share my insight into the business of blogging. Whatever decision Darren or Kevin make, I'm still a winner.....yeah!

Darren just got back to me. He thinks that fayans and fatherblogger left the best replies. I'll message you about this :)Wow! This is the best gift that I received since day one of my blogging career. Well, I guess inspiring others really pays a lot. Expect me to do my best to inspire more.
I will definitely make a blog post about this. Please extend my gratitude to Darren, as both of you are among those who keep on inspiring me.
Congrats to my co-winner, as well.
