Back links are a good easy of getting yourselves traffic and clicks.But is this really working for Google.There are lot of compainies providing 1000's of backlinks in exchange of your money.Google say that they are smart enough for getting your evil backlinks and making backfire to you.They say that they can easily get those baklinks and make your SEO poor for Google.So Avoid the backlinks from the fools.Spam comments, avoid them.This is going to help them and ruin you.So next time try having you hard earn links then the EVIL BACKLINKS.

I dont think bad(evil) links(ie from link farms or viral links), can have any negative effect on your SERP. That is because if it did, then all your competitiors would be submitting your url to link farms to get you down in the rankings. ;)

Yep. evil backlinks are not really that big deal. Well, just keep on promoting and don't mind those competitors. :)

Backlinks are really important now days to increase your page rank>page rank increases as you start getting those links.And it is said that once you get your page rank 4 no ones to stop you.WHat to you want to say for those whose pagerank are not even 1 but stil earn $10000 plus

All the search engines have their form of search tool such as Google uses the spiders, same way Microsoft uses the bots and yahoo using the crawlers.These spiders,crawlers and bots(they all do the same just emphasing their brands) moves around the internet not searching the information but gathering them and sending them to their respective directories.Here in the directories all the web pages are stored and when you search in the engines the results are shown from here.The spiders move around the web randomly and collect your page.This is automatic method but will take a long time for your results to listed among the required list.You need your higher page rank to be initiated first in the list which requires lot of skills.That i will be shown in my upcoming

Evil backlinks don't hit you much if you have good ones too.

but if you have ONLY evil backlinks it may hurt you based on a few factors -

- Were there a sudden increase in backlinks to your site?
- Are they ALL from link farms?
- Is there anything evil about the incoming links?

If the answers are Yes - you may be in trouble.

Otherwise Google knows that you have no or less control over who links to you.

So that's not something to be worried about.

noone so far defined what an evil backlink is. For example, I always manage to rank among the first three positions for any given word after submitting to many directories. Now, what is the difference between a link farm and a directory?, each day I can see that hundreds of new directories are created. I use them to get free links, so far, google never punished me, so I really don't know how google can ban some site for getting backlinks, but there is chance I guess that if you obtain 5000 links in a month something is wrong....or not?, what about sites that had a sudden success, what about youtube?, digg?, all of them get thousands of backlinks.
My point is, less talk and more seo friendly directory submission.
