I introduce myself as I wish to stay for a while in this forum, but....
The reason why I am here is because I was thinking about to abandon B...as (you can see at my blog), I am not with Wordpress.
I was lookin for a similar forum with Google but no way. I was almost desperate :( and it is still impossible to find a real help for my brand new born blog in which I am stuck now with a stupid problem. Hopefully I will find a help here.:o
I leave in Europe for the half of the year and for the other half I leave in Tibet, the reason why I want to blog is to spread awareness about the uncontaminated places that are disappearing from the planet.
One reason that made me choose to enter your site, (I was surfing around for 2 days now) is the very sympathic picture of you Kevin.
so long

my blog is www.themytibet.blogspot.com
As you can see it is at the very beginning stage, and it is not bilingual yet sorry.
The problem is that I cannot get the link "comments" or "live a comment" at the foot of each post as usually in the mainpage. I have set the options and saved them but there is nothing more I can do, I even switched templates but the error remains.
I can have any other label like the date, my name, etc but not the comment link.
I have gone through all the HTML tips but I confess this is too much for me.
I will be very grateful if you choose to help me.
post scriptum: I have read your personal blog with that picture of you and I liked it.

Missysippy,
I use blogspot too. Maybe I can give you an idea to make the comments appear. Try following these:
Customize ===> Settings =====> Comments
You will be in the comments page. The first option will be to show or hide comments. If it is in hide, please change it show. This might be the problem.
Now I wanted to give some review about your blog too. The header image covers the full the screen in Firefox. Since there are many firefox users in the blogosphere, try to adjust it. You have the Personal or the about me thing at the end of all page elements in the left. Give some more information in the about and place it on top. Also register with feedburner or any other service and put the email signup and RSS feed button on your blog below About Me Page.
Thanks.

so many times I did what Ramkarthik suggests..
Settings >Comments >Show >New Posts allow comments >Show >New posts have backlinks >..no popo ups> verify words..yes >moderate comments..yes > profiles image..no >notify address..yes> save settings.
What’s wrong with these settings?:mad: I have even tried to thick and unthick options in order to check if I do a mistake but result does not change.
Is it a bug in the HTML code? What can I do?
Thank you so much for the suggestions, but I am not going to work on it if I cannot get comments on my blog would you?:(

Missysippy,
I agree that without comment options, it is not worth good blogging. I tried my best to find a solution for this. Im not good at Html or CSS, so I can't give a correct solution. But maybe you can try this:
Go to Template ====> Edit Html
First download your template so that even if anything goes wrong, you can use the downloaded template.
Then click on expand widget templates.
Now, Use the find option in your browser by clicking CTRL+F
Now in the box type:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'>
You will be taken to a line. See below it:
you should have a line this:
<b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'>
Se if it is allowComments in the line or any other. If it any other word there, change it to allowComments and see.
Good Luck. Sorry that I can't help you with a perfect solution.

I post here part of the HTML where you can see that mine is different
<b:includable id='feedLinks'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'> <!-- Blog feed links -->
<b:if cond='data:feedLinks'> <div class='blog-feeds'>
<b:include data='feedLinks' name='feedLinksBody'/>
</div>
</b:if>
<b:else/> <!--Post feed links -->
<div class='post-feeds'>
<b:loop values='data:posts' var='post'>
<b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'>
<b:if cond='data:post.feedLinks'>
<b:include data='post.feedLinks' name='feedLinksBody'/>
</b:if>
</b:if>
</b:loop>
I have followed your instructions as you can see there is a different line in mine!
If I change with the one you suggest I get a blank template, no posts at all
Is it wothy to send you the entire one so you could compare with yours?
I appreciate very much your attention

Missysippy,
As I said I'm no good good in Html and CSS. But why not we'll give it a try. You download your template, send me the file as an attachment to:
ramkarthikrocks at gmail dot com
I'll compare it with mine. I'll see the comment's section and tell you whether your and mine differ in anything. I'll post the result both here and also send a reply to your mail. But still I cannot guarantee that your problem will have a solution from me. I'll try my best.

Hi Luz.
Got your template. To tell you the truth, I couldn't find anything. Really sorry about that. You said your change of theme also didn't help you a lot. Don't go for a theme which blogger provides. Try using some other template. You can google search for templates. Sorry that I can't help. I tried my best to find but all in vain. Sorry.

Missysippy, that's fine. You are welcome. In fact I haven't done much. Hope you will find a good solution for this problem from someone else.

Hi Missysippy
Looks like you're really having a hard time with blogspot. I also tried finding a solution to your problem when I read your post. But, it seems that your blogspot account doesn't offer much solution. Try switching to wordpress. You can create your blog there and import your blogspot entries to wordpress.

I think so. Wordpress has a whole thing setup so you can transfer with ease. As far as I know at least. I looked into it a while back but never ended up doing it
