been blooging about a month, check me out and any advice you guys can offer will be most appreciated. My blog is basically just an old mans take on modern living and whatever crosses my mind at any particular time.

I would firstly have someone professionally design a banner for you... a strong banner makes a huge difference on any site. I would get rid of any animated gifs as they're needless and only weigh the page down, and really annoying for people on slower connections. Keep it simple. :) Only have content related to your blog.

Well, your sidebar is empty for about 8 pages due to the large amount of blog content, might want to reduce the length of the posts and the number of posts on the page.

The colors are really nice though, I'm not a green person, but they match up really well without contrasting too much.
