Hi,

The evolution theme does not work with any of the SEO plugins including the famous All-in-one-SEO plugin. I am not able to do any on-page SEO at all.

Can you please look into it?

Thanks
Al

The All-in-one SEO plugin works off finding the <title>...</title> tags in the header and replacing the content within them to what you've specified for that particular page/post, so unless they're not there I can't see why it wouldn't work, unless there's a problem with your plugin? It also uses wp_head() to add the meta tags.

What other plugins are you having problems with?

One thing I need to edit in the revolution theme is that the logo is using the H1 tag on all pages. This should be h2 on single pages however apart from that there shouldnt be any problems

As Sarah says, the plugins you mentioned might need specific functions to be called in order for them to work. Can you provide some more information about the seo plugins you want to use and more specifically, any functions which they need to use in order to work.

I have not updated the theme so that on the home page the site name uses the H1 tag. On posts and pages the name of the article will use the H1 tag. This should help with seo performance.

Al - please get back to me on the plugins if you still want this looked at :)
