View Full Version : Whats the purpose of the 'Review My Blog' room?

The purpose of the 'Review my blog' room is very simple. Members can post a thread asking for fellow members to review their blogs.
In doing this members can get important feedback on :
* The content in their blog
* Their blog's design
* Tips to improve traffic/money
If you are reviewing a fellow members blog please be polite and ensure criticism is constructive.
If you are being reviewed, please do not take anything to heart. With so many different people reviewing your blog it's very likely someone will dislike something about your blog.
Each review should be in its own thread, do not ask your blog to be reviewed in someone elses review thread. If you want your blog reviewed you need to start a new thread and put the name of your blog in the thread :)
Hope you all find this room helpful :)
Thanks,
Kevin

hey, Kevin
Is there some way that the title of the 'review my blog' thread can be linked to the blog so it can be easily located by clicking on the invite. It was a pain to find the last one.

Im not sure what you mean Ann, it's up to the thread starter to list their blog in the first post. Is that what you are implying? Can you clarify what you said :)

For Instance, TomLeDree has a title "please review my blog". Is there some way to click that title and go to the blog so I don't have to look for it and thereby be influenced by other's thoughts before I've seen his blog?

But how would you load the actual discussion then?
When you click that title, you are taken to the first post. The link is in that post. Just don't scroll down, and you won't see anyone else's opinion. :)

Well, the actual answer was to change from the linear format to the threaded format, so yes there is a way, I just had it loaded different.
Thanks.

I dont see why you'd need to do that. Just open the thread, view the OP, and post your review - you dont need to see others' opinions/reviews...
