I think audio ads won't last long. for internet users, time is very important. and usually, a user only spend a little amount of time in a particular site whether he likes the blog or not. Waiting for an audio ads to finish is something that a user will not do so I think only few companies will be willing to spend in audio advertising.

Unless I'm listening to music I browse with my volume off, so wouldn't see it. If I am listening to music I get very annoyed when something interrupts that. So my opinion is that they're another bad idea thought up by men in suits with little idea of how web users behave.

it's called pay per play, well i never use it since will make my blog visitor become annoyed by audio ads, and besidely, not all of them turn on their speaker/headphone so i think this kind of ads is not too effective

What's the logic behind bumping a 24 day old post and that blog does not have any audio ad now.

Though regarding my views on it, I hate it since I find them too irritating....though if Auto Play is disabled, its still ok...those people who would like to listen can play but if its set as Auto Play on load...then I will not visit that page...Imagine having opened 20 tabs in firefox and audio ad playing in one and then I waste my time finding the annoying tab and sometimes close the important ones in this stupid process.

@navjotsingh
yeah it's very annoying if we must hear audio ads, because we visiting other blog is looking for content, not for hearing annoying ads

i would be interested in the results, in my opinion you wont get any return. what is the first thing you look for when a site starts to play any form of music... the mute button

I agree with you slee. Audio is very much annoying in a site unless the user really plays it himself. So, narendra, if you tried it, don't set it in auto play.

I get very annoyed by anything that is autoplay! I don't want to go to a page that blares something at me when I'm not expecting it. My fiance and I both work from home and he might be on a business call and I go to a site that has something on autoplay and it's shocking! I can't get to the volume fast enough.

It's also bad for people who might be at work and they can't have that either! *SmiLes* Suzanne

A little off topic but yesterday I went to a blog for women's fitness and I was very interested ... well, I got there and this podcast (starting with advertising) was blarring loudly at me ... I couldn't find any way to turn it off and my volume thingy won't always come up in my icon tray place (sorry I don't know the lingo for these things) ... well, I sent the blog owner an email telling her that I enjoyed the site but I won't be back unless she can tell me where to shut off the "sound" when I arrive. Let's see if I hear back or not. *sigh* Suzanne

@wahmsuzanne
now, it's depend on her, if she money-oriented, she will do nothing, she will keep her blog like that, but if she care about visitor, surely she will considering to keep that ads or no
