Maybe you didn't read the post. Read it and then you will understand.
BTW about points number 1, 3 and 4...I follow a better option....I have local wordpress versions on my PC of all my websites...I make changes in them and then upload it to server online...this way, I never have to make any backups...of files atleast....and you can even save your blog from damages by doing changes live online. I recommend this strategy for any website that you run.
Though backup of databases still needs to be done since writing content offline is not much feasible.

hahaha. That's a catchy title. For you guys, who are lazy to read, you won't find anything about tsunami inside the article and the insurance thing is not a paid service. :D

So maybe akira, it's about time that you start to learn and move your blog into wordpress. Blogspot is good but you can do a lot more things in wordpress.

I too keep a copy of everything I do on my hard drive and I've wondered if others do as well. Is that a lot of storage space to "waste"? I don't know much (anything) about hardware and storage amounts but I don't want to crash my computer! LOL *SmiLes* Suzanne
