List building made easy? Is such a thing really possible? It most certainly is. I know this from personal experience. It might seem hard at first but it definitely gets easier, especially as and when you learn some good nuggets of information or tips along the way.

Many people have a dedicated squeeze page and have never tried to collect emails any other way. You should definitely experiment with putting an opt-in form on your sidebar of any WordPress blogs you have. Many people who do this find that they get a lot of subscribes this way and very few unsubscribes.

I am always amazed when I see people writing trash articles. Maybe a few people will click through (usually when the resource box at the bottom is hard selling something) and then a few of those will actually subscribe when they see the squeeze page.
Trust doesn't start in your first five emails. It starts with your articles or anything else that you write on the internet. It is much better to write your articles from the heart than the churn them out or outsource them.
