I kwow that this question may sound rather silly to most of you, but here it goes anyway.
To have text link ads published on my site I must: First submit the site: if it gets approved (it did), then it appears on Edit your listing options. Second step: insert your ad code in you site....done (wordpress plugin).
Third Step (and it's here where I have some questions).
They say they sell the text links.....fine, but how the text links end up on the sidebar?, I mean, if I don't have a widget set, How they are supposed to send the links automatically ?, am I missing something, do I actually have to insert any other code I don't know about?.
Please help !.

the wordpress plugin should be added so that you can sell ads on individual posts

however, in order to see links on your sidebar you will have to add the code they give you to your wordpress sidebar template.

Can I assume you see two different listings in your account - eg. one for individual posts and one for text links?

"Can I assume you see two different listings in your account - eg. one for individual posts and one for text links?" . No I don't think that's the problem.

And yes, you right about the wordpress plugin code. However, there are some settings that I just can't configure.
First. when I submit a blogspot blog, it gets automatically rejected.
When I submitted a .com blog, it got accepted immediatelly. Why is that?.

Another question, with .com blog I chose a new option called text inlinks ads...and that was fine, but I just can get the code for regular text link ads, and I don't know if that requires a specific approval. Am I missing some filter?, PR, alexa ranking?, but that is not possile since I've seen many blogs without PR that do have text link ads....

Blogs hosted on free platform like BlogSpot, WordPres.com are not allowed into TLA's system. That's why they get rejected automatically.

the inlinks system requires you to install a wordpress plugin. You dont need PR to be accepted but it would help and in any case, what you are paid depends on your pagerank anyways

Is pagerank the only consideration for what you are paid? What if you have more than one site ... do you get paid accordingly for each site? Or could you submit the one with the highest pagerank and use the links elsewhere (I'm sure I know the answer to this but had to ask LOL).

Where can I see an example of what these ads look like?

Sorry to be such a newbie (again ... uhhh ... still) but do you (Kevin) get referral credits/benefits for referring someone new? *SmiLes* Suzanne

The two main considerations are pagerank and niche. ie. rates are usually higher on a business site than they are on a joke site .

You submit each site individually at Text Link Ads (there is a banner on the sidebar on the home page (http://www.bloggingtips.com)). Your site doesn't currently have a pagerank however when you get one in the next update you would be able to add your site. Be warned however that google are cracking down on selling page rank via text links so theres a chance you could get a penalty for 'passing juice' to other sites.

So ... do you have these type ads on your site? not the banner to sign up ... but these actual ads?

I have a pr4, pr3 and pr1 but I don't want to risk their rank for this.

I guess I don't fully understand what "text link ads" is ... but I'm thinking that I get paid to put text link ads on my site. Are you paid just for displaying them as opposed to someone clicking on them?

Do you have an example of one ... or know of a site where they are displayed? Thanks! S

This is a service that I have only used briefly, and I need to look into a bit more to get a better understanding, So I will leave it to Kevin to help you, as he seems to have a better understanding than myself.

I'm don't use TLA for bloggingtips and to be honest, I'd be reluctant to use them on any site which I work on a lot. I use them or 3 or 4 other websites I own. Websites I never update or even check but ones which still have a page rank. I currently make about $300+ a month from them. They are great with regards to payments and always pay on time. I use to make close to $800 a month with them but I sold some of the sites which were making me money through them.

Some sites still use them and haven't suffered a pagerank penalty. The thing is, many blogs use text link ad services and never get caught by google - but if someone did report your blog you could be hit with a penalty and that is the risk :)

I'd always use TLA on sites where I don't care about the pagerank etc - ie. sites which dont get much traffic but still have a PR of 3+
