My first impression is that it is bland. In my browser IE7 your blog title is cut off at the bottom as well. I read some of your content and I just can't put what you are saying together with what I'm seeing. I don't see this blog, in appearance or in content as being on the "forefront of blogging."

Too many categories, way too many links and the theme is just plain. Add some bling. Oh and you need an about page or at least something at the top of the first page to let people know what the blog is about without having to go through everything to figure it out.
