I agree with both of you. There are some really bad ones but some good hosting companies that have some cheap hosting plans. Remember, you get what you pay for. For someone considering blogging or internet marketing I would always advise to start at the cheap one and once you get more developed then to change plans. Alternatively, you can blogg on free hosing like blogspot or wordpress to test the water. You can always move later but you'll have to be starting again with links and domains though.
