I have WordPress and BBPress pretty much sync'ed up. But my question applies to any plug in that requires cooperation with WordPress. I want to have it work a special way and this special way requires a very minor adjustment. At the end of the blog, where users can post thier own comments, I am going to have the sync designed such that if users make posts in the corresponding sync'ed forum, those replies will appear in the blog as comments.
The special adaption is this. I want the fields were the user can post comments onthe blog to be hidden. Instead, I just want a link to the forum (where the user will have to log on and register before he makes his post) and he will see corresponding forum entry that matches the blog and the comments there.
How can I do these two modifications?

I'm not sure if a plugin exists to do this. It sounds like you want to use bbpress as your commentating system.
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of bbpress. I know that it integrates well with wordpress but it's lacking in features.

OK, this should be up your alley.
At the beginning, when you make a wordpress entry, this hyperlink is "No Comments" but I suspect as comments are added it changes. If I have the comments in WordPress tied to a BBPress forum and I want this link to go to the forum, how do I modify this link in WORDPress. Go to http://www.arguemax.com and scroll to the bottom to see what I mean. I want to modify this hyperlink:

After some thought, I think I will take a more simpler approace and just focus on the WordPress blog side of things here.
A plug-in must exist for what I want to do. I just need to have people who are familiar with it to point me in the right direction. On the other hand, perhaps I need to do some modification to the theme or the code myself. I just want to know where to begin.
Now, here is the new and simple modification I want to make to my WordPress blog. Will you please tell me how I can do this? When I new person wants to make his first comment to the blog and he clicks on the comment link, he is taken to a new page or form just before he is taken to the place where he can enter his name, email address, and the text. How can I do this?
Let me give you an example of what I mean. Suppose I charge for membership on my web site and users have to first sign up with paypal. This would be done just one time and only for new users. If someone wanted to post a comment on my blog, the process for registration would require an additional page that they would see prior to them making their first comment.
Can you please tell me how I would do this?

You can set it so that only registered members can comment. This would automatically send people who are not logged in to either sign in or sign up.
And if you integrate bbpress with wordpress, they will automatically be registered to comment in the forum too.
