Emailing Bloggers

I was wondering what you think of emailing bloggers to ask for a link to your post. What is the best way to go about it? I have a blog email list of about 30 blogs togethor, and I was using it for about two weeks with little success until one of the people got mad at me for spamming. I was emailing like 3 times a week, so it might have been too much. I still email Deadspin (top sports blog) 3 times a week and have gotten two links from them, bringing in 1,000 readers the first time and 2,000 the second time.

You shouldnt keep the same list. If your emailing people 3 times a week with links then your spamming them, theres no two ways about it.

Personally, Im not a huge fan of this type of promotion. If you only do it every now and then it can have benefits but if any blogger was emailing me weekly asking for a link I'd just put their email in the spam list
