Mentor or blogger needed...

Greetings. I am totally ignorant about using blogging, Twitter, Stumple Facebook etc but need them to promote my site. I am not exactly an idiot. I have a B.eng in electronics, write html, did technical writing for many years and also was a pilot for 30 years. I need someone patient to assist me. Maybe I can do some writing in exchange?

You can use this forum as a sounding board. There are a few experienced members who could help you in different ways, effectively giving you multiple mentors.

The problem is that I don't know what questions to ask. I need someone to look at the blog and the webpage and tell me where to start. It appears that I get about 7 people a day all from the webpage to the blog. It's the opposite that I need and a little more than7 :-)

Post up your site for a review under the build/develop/maintain section asking for feedback on the areas you feel you need advice in. You should at least get out the starting blocks there.

I could try to help you but I would have to know what it is about.

Anyway if you seriously want to start blogging than be aware that it takes a lot of time to get decent traffic.
