In the last week or so it seems everyone is getting their overly concerned about the ‘No Follow’ tag that wordpress adds to commentators website link on comments they leave.
For those who don’t know, the ref=”nofollow” tag is a tag you can add to links to tell google not to follow that link.

You get so used to seeing wordpress used for blogs that you can easily forget it can be used as a content management system. I was browsing some css sites yesterday and came across this site and then later noticed it was powered by wordpress.

Subscribe to Comments is another wordpress plugin which bloggingtips.org uses and which i would recommend adding to your plugins on your site. Its a very straight forward plugin that adds a checkbox for anyone who is commenting so that they can get email notifications of the post they are commenting on. The same way that thread subscription works in bulletin forums.
