While blogging we come across many nice and useful websites and softwares, being bloggers we want to write about them. Most of us still using Print Screen and then going to either Paintbrush or Photoshop to copy the screenshot, edit it and save it.
Using Photoshop is good, the images come out the quality you want but you must be willing to deal with the slow response of the applications, since Photoshop requires a lot of resources. It also takes a while to do just getting screenshot and editing - resizing or drawing…
If your using cpanel then you’ll already have some good stat programs which you can use to monitor your traffic, most notably awstats and webalizer.
Stat programs rarely seem to agree with each other which is why i like to use 1 or 2 more stat programs to give me a more balanced and realistic impression of what traffic to my site is really like. Im particularly a big fan of seeing where referrals are coming from ie. what sites and what search engines.

In order to transfer files from your pc to your website you need to either use an online file manager (not practical for a lot of files) or an ftp. There are a lot of ftps out there.
Before i told you about my favourite text editor so now ill tell you about my favourite ftp.
