The profession itself requires a fundamental understanding of business, the craft itself, and technology. Employment in this profession requires skills in areas other than design. I spoke last week about how Unique Blog Designs are getting better and better. Well, yesterday they went up in my estimations again as they released a gorgeous free wordpress theme called UBD Money Maker.

Blog DesignUnique Blogging Designs exploded onto the blogging scene last Summer with the redesign of popular bloggers John Chow and Jeremy Schoemaker’s blog. They built on this success and did designs for the likes of Zac Johnson, EntreCard and Fat Man Unleashed.
