Do you provide the odd link or reference to sites who have made good comments about your site in their blogs? Do you help out your fans? The one thing i love about blogging is that bloggers aren’t reluctant to link to articles they like on other blogs. Even blogs which cover the same topic as their own.

Pingbacks and trackbacks have become a very important feature in the blogosphere. This post discusses why pingbacks are such a fantastic feature for blog owners.

What are Pingbacks?

A pingback is essentially linkback method where a signal from one site is sent to another. When the receiving site gets a ping it checks the pinging site to see if a link is valid.

Im curious as to where readers think the more (continue reading) link should go in articles. You know the link i mean…the part of your post where you top section is shown on your home page and archives as a summary.
