A blogs success is in keeping it’s readers come back - everytime! You can buy traffic, run competitions, give away stuff or run a link-give-away offer even to get traffic. But they will never give you loyal readers.
Loyal readers come back to you all the time, they love your blog, they love your writing, they love you - as a blogger.
Personally, i prefer a handful of loyal readers to a large volume of one-time…
It’s only a week til i set off on my travels for a month. Frappr! is a useful tool which can be added to your blog, myspace or website. Its a very simple idea. You place the code on your website and you and your readers can see where all your readers are from. You can see this information in Google Analytics but it isn’t just a dot marking where visitors are from - your visitors can join and can add a picture of themselves and a link to their blog too.

I really enjoy reading blogs and comment frequently on them as well. Most of my comments are a paragraph or too long however i have found myself reducing the number of very long comments i write.
