I read a post a month or so ago which suggested that removing the datestamp from blog posts was a good idea. I’ve not been able to locate this post so I’m unable to provide you all with a link however I do recall that one of the the author’s main reasons for removing the datestamp was so that blog posts do not become outdated.

Today Feedburner announced that two features previously only available to pro users are now available to free account holders as well.

FeedBurner Stats PRO

The first new feature is called ‘FeedBurner Stats PRO’ and provides you with you some additional stats that free feedburner doesn’t.

MyBrand

The MyBrand option lets you change the feedburner url to match the url of your domain. As they put it, rather than using feeds.feedburner.com/MyFeedName, your MyBrand-ed feed address can be feeds.myexcellentdomain.net/MyFeedName.

Regular readers of Blogging Tips will know that i link to older articles quite a lot in my posts. There are a lot of reasons why i do this :
