Lots of bloggers like to ask the question is blog commenting really matters. In this example I would say it definitely does. I read all of the comments that come through on this blog and Ryan Biddulph has been an active blog commenter on BloggingTips.com for quite a while now. Seeing Ryan’s avatar/face and his comments made me want to go and check out his blog and see what’s going on at his end. This led me to get in contact with him and profile him in this weekend’s “Meet the Bloggers” interview. Get commenting and provide value and you might just be the next blogger featured on our site!
1.) Please tell us about yourself and how you got into blogging?
My name is Ryan Biddulph. I am a 38 year old globe-trotting blogger who enjoys chilling in paradise, keeping fit and helping you make money online. I started blogging after receiving my pink slip. I was fired from my security guard job in NJ and heard that blogging could be an enjoyable and prospering means through which I could make a living. I decided that working for myself was the only way to go so I started blogging after being let go from my job and never looked back.
2.) What is the focus of your blog and why did you choose that niche?
My blog focuses on how to generate cash online. Many people want to make money online through blogging; few realize their dreams. If I could run an informative, inspiring blog teaching you how to make money blogging I could help you travel the world, spend more time with your family and do all the cool stuff that I do.
The 1 problem with trying to make money online is that the moment you focus only on making money you lose sight of what you need to do to make money; creating value and making authentic connections with people. My blog focuses on sharing tips and tricks to keep your focus on creating value and developing strong bonds with friends so you too can create your own mini – or massive – blogging empire.
3.) How are you currently monetizing your blog traffic?
- my ghostwriting services
- my blog consulting services
- selling my inspirational ebooks
- accepting sponsored posts
- selling advertising space
- affiliate marketing
4.) What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started blogging?
5.) What are three blogs that you visit almost daily?
6.) Can you give us three recommended tools/services that you use with your blogging?
7.) What advice would you have for someone who is just starting with their first blog?
8.) What’s the best advice or tip you’ve discovered about blogging since getting started?
Tell stories. My best posts are stories about my life. I relate how to make money online to some tale from my experience. Many top bloggers implore you to tell story after story because we love ’em; movies, books, TV shows, etc. Tell stories through your blog and you will never, ever lack for readers.
9.) If you only had $100 to start a new blog, how would you use it?
I would buy a domain with hosting to use up the $100 then start writing like mad and meeting leaders in my niche. It takes only a little bit of money but a ton of time and energy to brand yourself and grow yourblogging audience.
10.) How can readers of the blog get in touch with you?
You can visit my blog at: Cash With A True Conscience
My twitter: RyanBiddulph
My Facebook: RyanBiddulph
