Hello John,
First of all thanks for the list, till now i was thinking that all blogging platform is for free, and today i came to know about SquareSpace. that also we have paid blogs.

But john is it worth to pay a rent for your blog, i opt for own domain and hosting and retain the ownership.

I’ve used all these platforms with the exception of SquareSpace, and my number one choice has got to be WordPress(.org). If you’re looking to blog for money, you should always have your website on its own domain, and there’s no better CMS in my opinion than WordPress. WordPress is fast, secure, and easy, which makes it the perfect platform in my opinion.
