Looking at the VPS hosting plans from Vixile, you get five different possibilities. The smallest is $9.95 a month and offers 20GB of total disk space, 200GB of monthly bandwidth, 256MB of dedicated RAM, 2GB of burstable RAM, and one dedicated IP. This isn’t much more than many shared hosting plans, so it may be worth considering.
For heavier traffic, you can step up as high as the VPS1024 plan. At $29.95 a month, it includes 80GB of storage, 800GB of data transfer, and 1024MB of dedicated RAM, as well as 2GB of burstable RAM and one dedicated IP. For now, Vixile does not offer true dedicated server hosting, so this is the next best thing.
Stepping Up with Reseller Hosting
What if you want to get into the hosting business yourself? You don’t have to invest in buying all sorts of servers, customer service centers, and other infrastructure. The reseller hosting plans from Vixile can handle that for you.
They range in price from $12.95 a month for 5GB of storage, 50GB of bandwidth, and 20 cPanel accounts all the way up to $124.95 a month for 100GB of storage, 1000GB of bandwidth, and unlimited cPanel accounts. Honestly, not very much, as far as I can see. The cheapest reseller plan could prove lucrative, though, especially if you combine it with some sort of "one stop website creation shop" kind of service that includes a website design and/or WordPress installation. Something like that. Most clients won't use up all that much storage/bandwidth anyhow.

Even the fact that they do cost more, I still prefer VPS hosting, simply because it gives me all freedom to operate all software I need, plus I dont share my resource with other sites on same shared server, which can be quite frustrating over the time.
