Setting up the service is pretty simple and straightforward. There is a setup icon in the top right of the screen where you can add your Twitter account(s), connect your social accounts to post updates to (Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, etc) and even add new users (as admins, editors or authors).

Monitoring your brand is just as easy. There are buzz and search icons near the setup icon. The buzz icons is where you can create and manage terms that you want to keep track of. This way you’ll be able to see who has mentioned specific terms on Twitter, take action and view in-depth statistics to measure overall engagement.

Under the search button you can search for terms on Twitter and then save those searches for later use. You’ll also be able to see trends worldwide or in different regions and countries.

The UI is setup with a left hand sidebar, status update box on the top and then 4 columns (feed, mentions, DMs, mytweets). Columns can be hidden and rearranged if desired. When clicking on a specific user in your stream you are able to see their Twitter profile info (links, bio) along with their Klout Influence Score. You can unfollow them, add them to a list, block them or even report them as spam as well.

There are many options in the sidebar. Under the streams section you can view mentions, DMs, retweets, saved searches, lists, scheduled updates and more. Under that stats section is where you can view the stats dashboard. This is where you’ll see various charts that show your influence on Twitter. You’ll definitely want to click around here and see all of the different analysis.
