It's very refreshing to read an article that highlights the value of PLR. There seems to be two camps that dominate the topic when it comes to private label rights articles -- those who are peddling it in "get-rick-quick" schemes, and those who abhor it.

The reality is that it is extremely useful to the webmaster or marketer who uses it responsibly. You have highlighted the responsible ways in which it can be used in this insightful article.

It's important to seek out quality plr, as it adds value to your blog and also is easier to re-write.

I looked long and hard at PLR articles as a source of material for my blog, but realized that rewriting is not that much quicker than writing my own material.

It's not that big a shortcut for me, because I have such high expectations. I guess I'll just keep mucking along on my own for now.

Hi Pattie,

I love plr, well good quality plr that is.

It saves you so much time, I find editing plr much easier than starting with a blank page, saves on a ton of research too.

You are very right to tell people not to use it as a guest post, a lot of plr is saturated and sticks out like a sort thumb.

I used PLR for creating ebooks very effectively, so I don't think it's taboo when used correctly.
