Actually, there are restrictions on these cheap sites:

I'm giving them a whirl; paid for it tonight, and waiting for DNS to change. I'm also moving to wordpress at the same time, so this ought to be interesting; the current site, on the current server, is in textpattern.
That's not bad. I think I'd do it for small, brochure-style websites. I think I'll test if for a personal site then see what the bandwidth usage is like. It's true though, that many sites won't even get close to hitting those limits. Even though it sounds unimpressive, 10GB of transfer is a lot of stuff, especially for a website.
I think it's an interesting option for small sites managed by experience web master.
