Receive Reminders on Twitter with Twittremind

Receive reminders on Twitter with Twittremind. Are you someone that spends a lot of time on Twitter? If so, might as well receive reminder tweets on there as well, right? Well I’m sure that many of you probably already use Remember the Milk or something else similar for this, but now we also have Twittremind to add to the mix. It’s a quick and easy service that uses a simple form to send reminders on Twitter.

There’s not very many steps required to set up your reminder.

  1. Enter your username in the required box. This is where your reminder will be sent.
  2. Enter the items you’d like to be reminded about. You can enter up to 5 things at a time.
  3. Enter the date that you want to be reminded on. There is a convenient little calendar that will popup here.
  4. Enter the time at which you want to be reminded. The timezone it goes by is GMT.
  5. Click on the “Remind me!” button.

Now the site says that you will get a “direct message” about your reminder. I’m not quite sure how that will work since you would need to be following their account to get the message. I did try out a test run, but no reminder yet. If you have any luck please let us know in the comments.

Other similar services that you might prefer or like in addition to Twittremind include: Remindr, @timer, @rtm and Task.fm. All of them are pretty easy to use though Task.fm is a bit more advanced. They either require you to fill out a quick form or send a direct message to an account on Twitter.

Which one is your favorite reminder service?

While it may help build your business, with all these new tools and programs that allow you to help your Twitter, I'm sure no one could be able to keep up with all of them. I mean, there's got to be at least 200+ programs that do these things just like Twitteremind. But, I do like the idea of it since I like to use Twitter.

    I assume you do too?

    hehe

    :)

Thanks for letting me know about twittremind. It will be a great tool to use! Just one more tool to make twitter even more useful than it already is. Anything that can make life a little easier is always welcome in my book!!

Hopefully it works well without too many kinks! If so than it will definitely be a wonderful tool! Thanks again

    Hi guys,

I haven't had the opportunity to use any of these services. But if I had to choose one I would use Twittremind. Because it looks for simple and easy to use.

    Kind regards,

    Sam
