In business it’s extremely important to have excellent communication skills. The majority of brick and mortar businesses rely heavily effective communication.
As a blogger and writer, chances are, your blog is your business and how effectively you communicate with your audience and/or customers has a great impact on how well your business is doing.
A crash course in business communications and business writing will help you get your message across effectively and give your business a positive image. Poor communication skills will hinder your business’ growth and cause you to look unprofessional.
Blogging and online business’ differ from the traditional business model due to the fact that your communication doesn’t have to be stuffy or boring. Readers want to see your lighter side–your human side. But you still want to be presented as a professional, and good or bad communication skills can make or break you.
People form lasting impressions from a business’ or individuals written communications. If your material is sloppy, full of errors or doesn’t make sense, people will form the mental image that you and your site are less than professional. You will not be viewed as an authority in your niche, no matter how knowledgeable you are in the subject matter. Being well-spoken and well-written is far more important than being an absolute authority.
Having good written communication skills will also help further your career–even as a blogger. The better your written skills are and how well you relay your message and information to the public, the better chance you have of catching the attention of an A-list blog. This can lead to being asked to do guest posts and forming new business relations and partnerships.
Good writing and communication skills will allow you to share ideas, knowledge and even your feelings in a way that people understand.
Following the general writing process; planning, writing and rewriting, can help you hone your communication skills. Revise any written material to make sure it’s clear and concise. Material that isn’t clear and concise cannot meet your objectives of effective communication.
Read business materials. The Internet is a wealth of information and most large websites contain well written business letters. Study those materials and hone your own writing and communication skills. Your business/blog will be more successful and readers will keep coming back.

Oh I did! Thanks for pointing that out. My next post should be "Always have someone else read your work."
Yeah.. it's different now with the existence of blogging platform where today everybody can do their own business with website or blogs.
I agree with your point that good writing and communication skills will help your readers or prospects to understand what you want to say or offer.
@Bloggerdaily
I am not aiming for your throat but i invariably get dragged there. Your comment is a fine example of irony too.
I found a bunch of morons trying to run a blog. One writes about communication but misses the whole point of it and the another writes 2 paragraphs, but doesn't say anything.
You guys should meet and discuss stupid stuff. You'd do well.
You wrote 2 paragraphs but you didn't even say anything.
Isn't it ironic, don't you think…. You talk about effective communication skills and end up with a preposition missing. I hope you consider written communication to be a part of it.
Why don't you convert this blog int to a dofollow blog, at least my comments will get me some links if not anything.
I will wait for your 'intelligent' comments, pseudos.
I can never think if ideas for articles…I do not know how you do it. I will definitly come back here. I love your work and my readers will also
Hello! Can you tell me how i can register mail at google
Hey. Nice writing and it appears that you’re trying to look from both sides of the coin.
Patti, you missed a preposition in the 2nd sentence of the 1st paragraph.
