Sometimes, just one theme won’t do. When you own several different websites around the Internet and you want to have unique templates for all of them, it can get very expensive to purchase premium themes for each site. Instead of buying themes one at a time, you can opt for a subscription service instead.
That’s the main concept behind ThemeLayouts.com, an online marketplace that offers both WordPress themes and Joomla themes for one consolidated price.

Theme Layouts offers a wide range of different themes that approach a wide variety of niches and industries. The primary business model here is that you only pay one price, one time and no longer need to pay a per-product fee for each download that you acquire.
The library is easy enough to navigate, allowing you to quickly browse through the newest themes, downloading them immediately if you are signed into your premium account. The price that you pay for a Theme Layouts membership is actually less than what you might pay for a single premium theme elsewhere.

Shown above is the Bright Day WordPress theme, one of the many themes available through this marketplace. It features a stylish black and white color scheme, accompanied by an extra bright background image at the top of the screen.
There are preconfigured sections for 125 x 125 block ads, article image thumbnails, RSS subscription options, and a search field. From the theme page, you can click on the “view live preview” button to see what the theme would look like on a live website. The Theme Layouts website makes use of a clever customization where one “blog” can be shown in multiple themes, so this is very convenient from both their and your point of view.

In addition to WordPress themes, the online marketplace is also stocked with several different Joomla themes. The one above is simply called “Joomla 4,” so the naming scheme for Joomla themes does not appear to be quite as creative.
Even so, the template is just as versatile with a larger header image area, both horizontal and vertical navigation bars, and an attractive black, white, and grey color scheme. For one price, you gain access to both the Joomla and WordPress themes.
From what I can see, the regular subscription price is $149. This is a one-time fee that gives you unlimited access to the premium web templates subscription store. However, if you sign up now, you can have access for $59.95. What’s strange is that the deadline for this “promotional price” keeps getting pushed back, making me wonder whether they are simply generating a false sense of urgency.
If you would prefer to have exclusive rights to a theme, you can pay the “unique price” for that template and own it outright, not including anyone who has already downloaded the theme through the subscription service. WordPress themes can be as much as $3000 (or more), whereas Joomla templates appear to sell in the $800 range.

Great information. There is nothing worse than getting an unexpected surprise.
