Nsyght is a great way to see what your friends are up to on various social networking sites. It currently supports Vimeo, Digg, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Flickr, Delicious, Last.fm and of course Twitter. By adding these services to your account you’ll have the ability to share videos, images, news and more with your friends on all these networks, plus check out what they’re sharing. Once you sign up and connect your accounts, logging is easy since you can do so via Yahoo, Clickpass, Facebook, Twitter, OpenID or Google.
Once you enter your bio information, add an avatar and connect your services you’ll be all ready to enjoy the benefits of Nsyght. After adding all of your services, you’ll see that your avatars from the different social services will appear under the avatar section. This makes it even easier to add an avatar since you can alternately just choose one of them.
Everything is viewed from your profile. Here you can show results from your friends, everything or just yourself on the timeline. You can also toggle live updates on and off – though I have noticed that everytime you select a different sort or filter option, you need to turn it back on. Of course you can also post status updates to Twitter and Facebook. On timeline items you have the option to reply to items, share on Twitter or Facebook and view discussions. I did notice that when sharing an image from Facebook on Twitter, a link to the image was not posted – not sure why.

On the right hand side there’s a filter menu that is great for view specific media items and sources. The timeline can be filtered to view videos, audio, photos, news or discussions only. You can also pick and choose which social sites you’d like to view. Clearing all selections will of course show everything. Replies/discussions can be viewed inline or in a new page, if you prefer; threaded conversation view works for both Facebook and Twitter. Image and videos are extracted from URLs and posted directly in your timeline though videos from some services cannot be directly viewed on the site.

In my opinion Nsyght seems to be your average social aggregator. At this time nothing really jumps out at me besides the threaded conversation feature. Being a huge fan of social aggregators, I’ve tried the majority of them and I’d definitely love to see more features added to Nsyght.

Seems good & as u said the choice of picking avatar feature is really a different one. Will try this one..Thanx for sharing..
Thanks for the great review. Yeah despite working for nsyght I can honestly see the apprehension. Not another aggregator? Despite that, we do offer a great deal of features that make us unique, discussions sure but also being able to keep in touch with your friends in real time.
But at the end of the day, we are a new service so keep an eye as we *will* be adding some seriously cool feature over the next few weeks.
Thanks for the heads up about the sharing issue, that is a bug. We will have that fixed in no time.
