Rumours have been flying around the last few days that WordPress are due to release an official app for Android, Googles operating system for mobile phones. Google have already released official apps for iPhone and Blackberry so it’s a good move, especially when you consider the growing popularity of Android (dozens of Android mobile phones are being released over the next year).
Darnell Clayton from The Blog Herald noticed that they have already reserved android.wordpress.org so expect something official from WordPress soon.
As I mentioned 5 months ago, there is already a superb WordPress application available for Android users called wpToGo. Let’s hope WordPress build upon the great script which Dan Roundhill has produced 
Additionally, Palm Pre owners will be happy to know that an unofficial WordPress application is being developed for the Pres WebOS operating system too.
That's good to know. I use Android and that would be great. I also think that it would be awesome if Tweetdeck built in commenting connectivity for WordPress blogs. View and respond to comments on WordPress from Tweetdeck would be pretty cool too.
Yeah I'm sure they could do something with this by using the comments RSS feed.
