Do you possible have any recommendation for what I should include in a magazine theme? I'm currently developing a magazine skin for Thesis but I'm not sure what to include.

WooThemes have a lot of nice themes, Muzi. I used one on my blog a couple of years ago and have also recommended the themes to friends.

I'm also one of those who frequently update my blogs with new themes I find interesting. Right now I'm about to update my travel blog with the recently released 'Bueno' from WooThemes. I just love it's simplicity and the big fonts.

Remember Headway has a Featured Post Leaf which you can put on any Page you want. Makes it very easy to feed those post where you want on your site. And no special coding is needed either.

You can tell I tried out a lot of themes, can't you, Maurice? Yes, a featured posts area that's easy to update is very useful. Some of the Woothemes and Arthemia (I think) handle this well.

Wow, thats a very comprehensive list from a blogger's usability perpective. For me the visual appeal combined with the ability to promote key messages in the right visual positions – like a featured posts display – is vital and not just for sales messages.
