When I previewed the personal theme a month or so ago a few members asked if it was possible to add a third column. I usually use WordPress themes with one sidebar however I know that quite a large percentage of WordPress bloggers prefer to have two sidebars as it allows them to put more information and advertisements around their content.
Therefore I decided to list some of the best 3 column WordPress themes which are available on the web for free. I have included a wide variety of designs so I’m sure there is something there for everyone. Enjoy 
* Please note:
- Some of these themes are quite new but many of them are a year or so old. Therefore they may have been designed for an older version of WordPress so it may not have some recent functionality which has been added in the last year. They are still usable but just bear this in mind when choosing a theme and pay attention to the date it was last updated.
- The list was originally much larger however I removed many themes because they had an excessive amount of sponsor links in the footer. I even found a few which wouldn’t work if the links were removed (something which I am strongly against).

I've never really been a fan of the three column blog layot, but I have used them before.
My favourite out of these listed has to be the WP Premier one listed at number 73.
Yes I'm the same. I have used them for some mini sites but for regular blogs I usually use one sidebar instead of two. I quite like 54 and 59.
I like AdSimple, but I am currently googling like mad trying to find some instructions/settings to change the number of words/lines that show up by default. I might be better off just looking at the code myself and fiddling for awhile
I've always preferred 3-column WordPress themes – and I have one site where I experimented with 4-columns (YGo I used), but I've changed that back to a 3-column too now.
