I am pleased to announce the release of the Hurricane WordPress Theme, one of the 3 themes which I previewed at the weekend.

The Hurricane theme was designed by Leland and his team at CustomTheme.com, a WordPress Design company who specialise in making unique WordPress designs for their clients. The theme has a grungy look with the main colours being black and light blue.

Click on the image below to see a large screenshot of the theme. Alternatively, you can see the theme in action in our demo area.

The theme has five widget areas: one in the sidebar, three in the footer and one in the 404 error page. All of which allow you to easily add, change and remove content very easily. The theme also has it’s own options area where you can add your Twitter, Feedburner and Google Analytics information.

To download this theme, all you need to do is sign up to our newsletter using the form below. You will be emailed a link to all of our free ebooks and themes once you have confirmed your email address.

I hope you like the theme. If you have any questions about using or customising this theme please let us know in the BloggingTips Theme Support Room.

Thanks for notifying me about this fresh theme. But I would like once more if you create another color variations of this theme, such as red+black combination. Just as like as the way I love this blog theme color. :)

    I'll work on a red/black style soon :)

Bit of a simple question. Whhat if you have already signed up to the newsletter?

An email was sent to newsletter subscribers this morning at the same time this post went live. Check your spam folder incase it went in there.

I am pleased to let you all know that a red and black colour scheme has been added to the zip file. Many thanks to Leland from CustomTheme for providing the red background image for the navigation section.

Please check your mailbox for the link to the download area. From there you can download the updated zip. None of the main templates have been changed. The style.css file has been edited and two new stylesheets, style-blue.css and style-red.css, have been added. So you just need to upload these new files.

For more information please refer to the Hurricane Theme Information Page.

Thanks Kevin, great theme and the grungy look is cool with the black background; don't know if you would have pulled it off with a white.

I also like the red and black color theme better since they're my favorite colors :)
