3 More WordPress Themes Coming Soon

I hoped you all liked the Principle WordPress Theme which we released a few days ago. My friends Rajat and Oliver over at Blog Design Studio did a great job with the theme, both with the design and with the themes admin area. I will be working closely with them over the next few months to bring you all some more great themes.

Themes are something that I want to bring you more of; free themes which are easy to use and customise as well as premium themes which are professional looking yet affordable. Like many bloggers, I am very biased towards WordPress. There are some other good blogging platforms out there but for me, WordPress is by far the best script to use; and it’s free as well!

I do appreciate that many BloggingTips readers use Blogger though. My advice long term would be to move away from free hosting and host your blog yourself if you want to take your blog to the next level however I understand that many of you like Blogger and will continue to use it.

So I have wanted to provide good Blogger templates for those of you who use the platform. However, it has proved very difficult. First of all, I am not a Blogger user and therefore am unfamiliar with using it and designing for it. Secondly, and most importantly, it is near impossible to find a good Blogger designer. Nearly all good designers design for the WordPress platform so I’ve not been able to find someone who can create what I want for the Blogger platform. Therefore, I hope Blogger users appreciate that I am not trying to exclude them, it’s just very difficult to for me to do anything for them.

WordPress users however will be pleased to know that we will be releasing 3 new WordPress themes on BloggingTips over the next few weeks. Two of these themes will be released for free whilst the third is a premium theme and will be released for $49.95. I thought I would give you all a preview of these new themes to give you a taste of what’s to come πŸ™‚

Free WordPress Themes

Our first few theme is being designed by CustomTheme.com. It has a black background with a prominent light blue navigation menu. The sidebar and the footer are widget ready and the theme has an options area too.

Black with Blue WordPress Theme

Our second free theme is being designed by Tung Do, more commonly known around the web as Small Potato. Tung is the former owner of WPDesigner, a site in which he released dozens of great WordPress Themes.

This theme has a magazine style and has a white and light blue colour scheme. I’m sure this design will prove to be hugely popular.

White and Blue Magazine Style WordPress Theme

Both of these themes will be released free to BloggingTips newsletter subscribers.

Premium Video WordPress Theme

Our second premium theme was created specifically for Video Bloggers (aka Vloggers). This amazing theme was designed by Adnan and his team from Gut Shot Studios.

I’m sure this theme will prove hugely popular amongst video bloggers.

Premium Video WordPress Theme

This theme will be released for $49.95 however I will give newsletter subscribers a good discount shortly before the official release so make sure you are subscribed πŸ™‚

I hope you all like these new themes. I plan on releasing more free and premium themes through BloggingTips in the future so if there is a specific type of theme you want designed please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Also, I hope you understand why I cannot release all themes for free. The premium themes take a lot more time, energy and money to develop therefore I need to charge for them; both to cover costs and to make it worth my while to support customers. Profits from premium themes will go back into developing more free and premium themes so in the long run this helps those who want more free themes too.
