i've always wondered just how do you know how much time someone that you outsource to actually spends on the project. i'm guilty of trying to do it all to save money. i'm 100% certain now that i should heed your advice and follow suit. that's what discourages so many aspiring bloggers and they run off with their tails tucked. i'm sure you won't give away your ace in the hole techie but could you at least tell us where you found her? hey, closed mouths don't get fed right??

Thanks for the great advice Larry.

All too often, we bloggers fiddle around with things best left to the tech guys because we believe it's what every other blogger out there is doing..Being a master of all trades.

I'm happy to let an expert do an expert's job and pay for it too. In the final analysis, I win on both grounds.

Toothpaste? I have cologne ;)

I think you'll find the differences can be referenced to learning style preferences - VAK - Visual, Audio and Kinesthetic. We can all be creative but we express that in different terms. Vs like pictures, As like words and Ks prefer feelings or sensations.

Blogs (especially ones selling) need to be able to communicate to all three styles that exist in an audience - so asking the team what does that site make you see, or say to you or make you feel is a useful test.

I like the concept of knowing your strengths and weaknesses, not trying to master design if you are good or great at copy....

Hi,

Interesting and I agree that both pods are needed. One working without the other isn't much of a partnership.

Care to share the name/URL of your "secret weapon"? For $25/hr I doubt that she will be such a bargain for much longer. If I were her, I'd be upping my rates pretty quickly so you should lock them in :-)
