I ordered the Kindle overnight one day and when I found out they had Kindle for PC…I canceled my order and now my little HP Notebook goes with me on trips. I only wanted to get the Kindle eReader because of the very long battery life. I also have Kindle for iPhone and I cannot tell you how marvelous it is to be able to have all my books in sync. And yes…FREE IS FREE!! Great job.

Good to know about the PC version. I recently installed the iPhone version (also free!) and have been using it a lot. Will have to give this a try as well.

I just got my Kindle a week ago and have already read 2 books. I am an avid reader and have toyed with the idea of this purchase for about a year. I am glad I waited because the price has really dropped but the convenience is well worth the money. The buttons are easy to use and I love the sleek design. Highly recommend to anyone who loves to read. Sunlight is no problem at all.

I’ve been reading a few reviews for the kindle 2 eReader but didn’t know you could download the kindle for free on your computer. Hope it works for macs. The best thing I think I like about eReaders and kindle is its environmental friendliness. saving a few trees feels good.
