Threadsy is a unique tool that lets you bring all of your important messages together into a single interface. Threadsy currently supports: AOL mail, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Twitter and Facebook. Your accounts are, of course, synced so if you delete an email message on Threadsy, it will also be deleted in your actual email account and so on.
There are two columns which separate your inbound messages from your outbound messages. Inbound messages are important messages that you won’t want to miss like your email, Twitter @mentions and Facebook messages. Unbound messages are considered less important and can stand to be missed like the Facebook timeline and tweets (from one or more Twitter account). There is a resizer in between the two columns that will let you expand the inbound column and make the outbound column skinnier or, you can hide the outbound column altogether. Each column refreshes in real-time and you can choose to have a new message sound indicator on or off.
The interface is pretty slick and easy to use; each column has its own set of viewing options. For your inbound messages you can choose to view all messages together or each account separately. You can filter your messages by starred or unread and you can also search through messages using the search box. You can select messages for deletion or to mark as read. When you mouse over a message, you’ll be given a few options that will appear depending on the type of message it is. For instance, for unread emails you’ll be able to delete it, add it as a favorite or quick reply.
You can also create a new message and send it to any of your connected email accounts or Facebook. When creating a message you can add one or more recipients. As you type an email address, matching recipients will pop up up. Once a contact is added to the recipient list, you can click on their name to view more information about them (which will appear in the unbound/right column). In the right column you’ll see a short bio, photos and updates from that contact. You can then enter a subject for your message and choose which account that you want to send it to. The message box has both plain text and rich formatting editing options. When opening an email message, you’ll see this same type of contact information relating to the contact who sent you that particular message.
In the unbound column there are not as many options. You can either view all updates or view updates by each site individually. You can also post an update to one or more of your connected sites at once. For tweets you can reply, retweet and add it to your favorites. For Facebook posts you can comment and “like” it right from within Threadsy.
Lastly there’s the Meebo toolbar integration (at the bottom of the site) that allows you to chat with your friends on Meebo, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, GTalk, MSN, ICQ, Jabber, MySpace Chat, Facebook Chat and numerous other social networks (all in a single Instant Messaging interface). So while you’re keeping up with your Facebook, Twitter and email, you can also chat with your friends on Yahoo, AOL and MSN. So as you can see, there’s a lot going on in Threadsy!
Threadsy is currently in private beta, so you will need an invitation to join. I currently have 10 invites available here if you’re interested. I must admit that I’m pretty impressed with Threadsy and all that it has to offer. I definitely can’t see what else they add in the future.
Thoughts?

Wow this looks really good.
I'm a huge user of Hootsuite to manage my twitter and facebook. All I'm waiting for now from them is the iPhone app (which I've been told is coming before Christmas). The hootsuite app has become such an epic piece of software I use I was sort of jokingly thinking the other day 'I wonder if it'll be pushing it for hootsuite to incorporate email somehow'
Threadsy seems to do the lot! – Twitter, Facebook and email – Awesome!
Definitely checking this out!
Can you manage your facebook PAGES with Threadsy?
Sarge | BeginnerBlogger.com
If I remember correctly, no they do not currently support Facebook pages.
Thanks to my Google Reader that I read your blog before the 10 invitations are used! I love RSS
I am a little bit suspicious about these kind of tools due to privacy matters, but I will check it out.
I was expecting from Google to create an application like that!
OH EM GEEE
I'm with Sarge…. IN LOVE WITH MY HOOTSUITE. But still intriguede by having email as well merged into one interface. that would make life simple!
altho… Digsby does have them all integrated, it doesnt do Facebook Pages, nor does it seem does Threadsy.
so, Hootsuite doesnt do emails… but it does fan pages, fb profiles, twitter and more, no IM. I use Digsby to integrate all my IM's FB, msn etc and all my emails: gmail hotmail, yahoo etc
Lets see who will be first to REALLY integrate them all seamlessly. I love the hootsuite set-up for now. waiting on my Threadsy invite tho!
I'm so glad I read this in time to get an invitation, Charnita. This looks a really interesting tool – and as a lover of shiny new web stuff I am enjoying trying it out.
Thanks for another informative entry. Where else could anyone get that kind of info in such a easy to understand way of writing.
Thanx for introducing me a nice tool. Till now i know only about digsby, But i think it will be pretty better than that. Anyways im going to try it..
