I'm using about 2/3 of these on a fairly regular basis.

Related commenting is something I'm not doing. I recall reading about the technique once before, but I haven't done it yet. Time to consider it, and I even know exactly how I want to do it… there will be a blog post there!

I believe that Forum Activity is a really good legitimate way, but only if you are actually solving a crisis and get really detailed on how to solve the issue so that other people within the forum post will look to you as an expert and out of interest visit your site.

Very nice article and I've been using these techniques myself. You sort of touched on this in the article, but I'd like to ad that getting a backlink from a site that has a high PR will get you more credit from google. A great way to figure out if a site has good PR is to install a firefox plugin called SEOQuake. It will give you all the SEO stats for a given page.

I hardly get any traffic to my site through search results. I'm trying to put more effort into this with D-Lists so I thank you for the advice.
