I have not posted much in the last week or so but I have been keeping up to date with my RSS feeds so I thought I would do a quick round up of news you might be interested in
Brian Clark, of Copyblogger fame, has released a report on online marketing entitled ‘Authority Rules‘. It’s quite a short report but it is packed full of great information.
You can download the 18 page e-book for free or, if you prefer, you can view the report on the site itself. Should only take 10-15 minutes to go through it all so I recommend checking it out

Sponsored Tweets is the latest service from PayPerPost developers Izea.
The site lets you sell advertisement tweets through your Twitter account. You can determine the rate which you charge for an advertisement message and how much you want to charge the advertiser for every click through, however they suggest an appropriate rate for you which is based on the number of followers you have.
Many top bloggers have apparently been using it for months in secret. I signed up the Blogging Tips Twitter account to it but so far but have not had any interest from advertisers as yet so it’s difficult to say what the return is like from using it.
If you have a lot of Twitter followers, it might be worth checking out.

I have been very impressed with the feedback for our first e-book release. Therefore this week I started work on the 2nd Blogging Tips e-book. Like the first one, this e-book will also be free. I’m not sure how long the book will be exactly but I reckon it will be shorter in length than the last one. I don’t want to give too much away but it should be released within the next week or so
I have also been working on the Blogging Tips Guides Section. I understand how difficult many new bloggers find developing their first blog therefore in this section I hope to write a series of guides which resolve common problems and issues that new bloggers face. I am very lucky to have a fantastic writing team here supporting me which frees up my time to focus all my energy on guides, reports and e-books for you all.
I have written down a list of a dozen or so topics already and I hope to complete them within the next month however if there is something you are really struggling with, please let me know and I will do my best to write a guide to help you with it
Good luck,
Kevin

Being able to create content on a daily basis is definitely a skill and something I don’t think that can be taught. Paying people if they have said skill makes some sense to me, its just like outsourcing.
I just started reading Authority Rules earlier today but unfortunately got interrupted. The first pages were interesting and I think it will be widely popular.
Thanks for the warning. I won’t be following Blogging Tips on Twitter, and I’ve blocked Blogging Tips as well.
Using spam injection services devalues your brand, and costs you credibility.
